Why Is My IGET Vape Not Working? Troubleshooting Guide
Is your IGET vape not producing vapour, tasting burnt or refusing to charge? Most IGET issues have a quick fix. Work through this troubleshooting guide from the most common problem to the least, and you will usually have it sorted in a couple of minutes.
1. No vapour or no draw
- Check the plugs. On a fresh device, make sure you have removed the silicone plug from the mouthpiece and the sticker from the base airflow port.
- Draw gently. IGET devices are draw-activated — a slow, steady pull works better than a short, sharp one.

2. My IGET tastes burnt
A burnt taste almost always means the coil has run dry. Either:
- The e-liquid is finished — the device is at end of life, dispose of it and open a new one, or
- You have been chain vaping — rest the device for 5 minutes and take slower draws to let the wick re-saturate.
3. My IGET won't charge
- Try a different USB-C cable — cables fail more often than devices.
- Try a different power source (another USB port or 5V plug).
- Make sure the port is free of lint or debris.
- If the LED still won't respond, the battery cell has failed.
4. My IGET is leaking or spitting
Leaking is usually caused by heat or pressure changes. Store your device upright at room temperature and avoid leaving it in a hot car or in direct sun. Wipe the mouthpiece and give it a minute before vaping again.
5. The device auto-fires or the light stays on
If the LED stays lit or the device fires without puffing, stop using it, let it cool, and do not charge it. A stuck sensor is rare but the safe move is to dispose of the device responsibly.
